Complete dentures are placed in the mouth of a patient whose gums and bone are fully healed after the teeth have come out. The denture teeth are first set in wax, so they can be tried in the mouth and adjusted if necessary. The Process
In case of immediate dentures, we create the prosthetic before the tooth extraction process, post which the dentures are placed immediately after the surgery. An average 6 to 12 months of appointments will be required to ensure your new set of dentures are not causing any discomfort.
In case of conventional dentures, we wait for your gums and jaw to heal completely after the removal of your natural teeth before placing the dentures.
Both the dentures can be removed and might cause some amount of soreness in the beginning, but with time you will feel absolutely comfortable with your new set of teeth.
